Benz 5hp sideshaft engine, made in Czech Republic, portable engine on factory cart with cooling tank, muffler and wheel brakes, interesting inertia style hit & miss governor, Bosch flipper magneto, a little over 7000 Benz engines were produced and this is the largest size they made and has 32” flywheels. Black Bear 25hp, 1928, oil field side shaft engine. Mounted on a 10,500# ABU tandem axle trailer. 11" cylinder with an 18" stroke. 1760 c.i.d. Flat belt driven Pickering fly-ball governor latches exhaust valve open for hit and miss operation. Turns at about 50 rpm. A real crowd pleaser at shows. Air start with dedicated flywheel driven air compressor and air tank. Originally in the Montana oil fields for 40 years, restored and rebuild in the Pacific Northwest.
