June 2006
On my trip to Tulare in April we stopped to visit a collector along the way and I saw this nice piece of yard art. It is a Fairbanks Morse hoisting engine. Too bad the cylinder is totally rotted out.
July 2006
This is a Lange sideshaft engine made in the Czech Republic. Serial number 97. This was in the collection of one of the German engine collectors I visited on my recent trip to Europe for the Nuenen show and to visit collectors.
August 2006
Oliver 2255 tractor shown at the Puget Sound Antique Tractor Mach. Assoc. show at Lynden WA. Photo taken at the 2004 show.
September 2006
1917 Holt 75 tractor. Rod Herrick sent this cover photo in. This tractor happens to also be for sale but you’d better have deep pockets. See Rod’s ad in Tractors & Parts For Sale.
October 2006
Picture taken at the Tulare 2006 show of a 8N Ford crawler conversion. Looks like they used an Oliver HG track frame. Besides doing the crawler conversion, they also put a flathead V8 in as well!
November 2006
Picture is from a July 1920 Ford Service Bulletin. Ford encouraged dealers to set up a display board like this which shows the difference in the size of parts betwen the Model T car and Fordson tractor. The Fordson parts are significantly larger.
December 2006
McCormick Deering 10-20 tractor seen at the Tillamook OR show in 2004.
