The PT658 restoration crew is looking for a Capitol Generator Aux. power unit. These units were used in ships, small sail boats for main power, aircraft, cabooses, and refer trailers. For marine use the Waukesha ICK was modified to include a water cooled exhaust manifold and additional water pump. After WWII surplus gen sets were modified for use as arc welders. The PT658 is the only fully restored to original WWII PT boat, based in Portland OR. See www.savetheptboat.com.
