Fairbanks Morse Z, 3 hp, 1918 engine which originally would have a plugoscillator. This engine is unique with an aftermarket Wico EK conversion. This is a factory-made conversion and not a homemade conversion. Had engine running earlier this year, but currently isn’t running. Magneto sparks on workbench but doesn’t seem to spark when mounted to the engine. Old repair to the head that would be easy to finish nicer but doesn’t leak water. On a Czech made engine cart modified to fit the Z. $600 for the engine only or $1000 for engine and cart. The EK conversion makes this an uncommon engine; George Best nnn-nnn-nnnn (Beaverton OR)

Lorenz, 4-6 hp, side shaft hit and miss engine. One of the most unique Lorenz engine in the USA. Have you ever seen another green Lorenz engine? Bought this engine back in 2001 and was one of two engines that were imported that year. Was told there were only two green with red pin stripping Lorenz engines made as a special order. Have had this engine running but haven’t run it in over 15 years. Thus, it will need some work to get running again. For example, magneto is a bit gummy and will need to be cleaned up so it will create a spark. Plus, the sparkplug was unfortunately left out of the engine for a period of time and a mouse got inside the cylinder. Fished most all of the mouse nest out through the sparkplug hole, but think some part still remains and is keeping the exhaust valve from seating. Hence no compression at the moment. This engine has 32” flywheels with 3-1/2-inch rims. This is a larger size Lorenz than you usually see in collections or at shows. When purchased someone had already primed a few
