Carl Benz & Cie Mannheim.

There was even an Aussie engine at the show!
This is a Ronaldson & Tippett driving a No 5 Goulds pump.

Deutz 1895. Look at that humungous magneto. Owner H v/d Ven.

Very nice original Dürkopf inverted engine. Look at how much of the original striping is still left.
Owner Kees Fitters.

Inverted Otto, this one is also all original. They must have used good paint around 1895!!
Owner Kees Fitters.

Le Globe.

Two cylinder Fetu-Defize slidevalve with flame ignition. I've been told it's 20hp, but I guess that every cylinder is 20hp. So it probably is 40hp?

Business end. quite impressive. The left hand flywheel is much wider than the RH flywheel.

Look at all the details like the bulb shape oilers and the "hanging" flyball governor, or the hanging oil pans that collect the oil that oils the sideshaft bearings.
This engines were made exactly like the Otto slidevalve engines.
